A Bigger Splash — full review

Unintentionally watched about half of it while waiting for something to happen. In the meantime, it was making me uncomfortable for reasons that didn’t justify taking the time to figure out.

Turned it off.

  1. You were just disappointed that nobody turns out to be a mermaid. But even if somebody did, that somebody would have been Dakota Johnson, which means the movie would still suck.

Also, anything with Tilda Swinton in it is weird and creepy in an “uncanny valley” kind of way.

Also, movies that pretend rock stars are important were celluloid cliches thirty years ago.

Also, the plot appears to be stupid.

Other than that this may be good.
